In the injection screw, the function of the screw head is that the plasticized melt can be released into the storage chamber when pre-plastic, and the melt in the front of the screw head can be effectively closed to prevent backflow when high-pressure injection is performed.
The screw head is divided into two categories, with the reverse ring and without the reverse ring, for the pre-plastic with the reverse ring, the melt of the screw homogenization section will push the reverse ring, through the gap formed with the screw head, into the storage chamber, when the injection, the melt pressure of the screw head to form a thrust, the reverse ring back to the flow channel to block, to prevent backflow.
For some high-viscosity materials such as PMMA, PC, AC or materials with poor thermal stability, such as PVC, in order to reduce the shear effect and the retention time of the material, you can not use the reverse ring, but such injection will produce reflux and extend the pressure holding time.
Requirements for screw head:
The screw head should be flexible and smooth;

Nozzle functions:
The nozzle is an important part of connecting the plasticizing device and the mold flow path. The nozzle has a variety of functions:
When preplasticizing, establish back pressure, expel gas, prevent melt from salivating, improve plasticizing ability and measurement accuracy;
(2) When injection, the contact pressure is formed with the main pouring sleeve of the mold, and the good contact between the nozzle and the pouring sleeve is maintained to form a closed flow channel to prevent the overflow of plastic melt under high pressure;
During injection, the melt pressure is established, the shear stress is increased, and the pressure head is transformed into a velocity head, the shear speed and temperature rise are increased, and the mixing effect and homogenization are strengthened;
Change the nozzle structure to match the mold and plasticizing device to form a new flow channel type or injection molding system;
The nozzle also bears the function of temperature regulation, heat preservation and material cutting;
Reduce the viscoelastic effect and eddy current loss of melt at the inlet and outlet to stabilize its flow;
When holding pressure, it is easy to fill the mold products, and the reflux resistance is increased when cooling and setting, and the melt in the mold cavity is reduced or prevented from backflow.
